“This an exciting opportunity for a journalist at the heart of the Sky newsroom.” Mike Kumar, Editor, News Output

What you’ll do:
- As a text producer, your work is seen on-screen by millions of viewers around world, and millions more on social media.- You’ll be responsible for writing all our on-screen information straps, and in charge of making sure our news ticker is kept up-to-date with latest developments.- You’ll have first-rate punctuation, grammar and writing skills, and be at the epicentre of breaking news.-
- You’ll also be forward planning on-screen information straps for future set-piece events.- You’ll work closely with Output Editors and TV production teams and the role will involve shift work and weekends.

What you’ll bring:
- You’ll have a recognised qualification in journalism- An understanding of broadcast law and Ofcom guidelines- Excellent writing, subbing, grammar and punctuation skills- The ability to react to breaking news at speed and under pressure- You’ll flag stories we should be covering on the TV output
