Plant Fitter

CRS are currently assisting our client in sourcing an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter / Diesel Mechanic to join the company on a full-time permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work on site and workshop in a great work life balanced role.

The Plant Fitter will work primarily from the workshop, working on repair and maintenance of company equipment, with opportunities to travel to sites across the Central Belt and wider Scotland areas.

The role with primarily entail servicing, maintenance, upgrades and repairs to a fleet of drilling rigs, auxiliary vehicles and light commercial vehicles. Previous experience in a similar role would be desired but not essential.

The role offers a variety with opportunities for further learning and training and an excellent work life balance. Client is happy to invest in further certification.

**Fitter requirements**:

- Must have a full UK driver’s license.
- Must be safety aware and prepared to work on strictly managed sites.
- Trailer license would be beneficial.
- Experience in maintenance of hydraulic excavator / JCB 3CX and machinery would be a distinct advantage.

**Salary Basic**:
£35,360 to £41,990 with overtime.
