**Receptionist**

**Home Close, Fulbourn, Cambridgeshire**

**10 hours a week - Saturday and Sunday 11am - 4pm**

**£11.00 per hour**

Home Close is a 72 bedded home that offers nursing care, and residential care. The bright, welcoming purpose built accommodation is laid out over two floors with eight wings which are named after local villages. Care staff are trained to the highest standards and chosen not only for their skills, but also for their warmth, friendliness and caring attitude. Staff are available constantly and provide professional care that respects the rights and dignity of the individual.

**THE ROLE**:

- To be accountable for the administrative procedures and to ensure all administrative duties are carried out in accordance with the established procedures as per agreement with your line manager.
- Promptly answering the telephone, direct or screen calls, take and relay messages.
- Provide information to visitors, greeting them entering the home and directing them to the correct destination or person best suited to respond to their queries.
- Deal with queries or requests from both internal and external customers.
- Provide general clerical and administrative support as requested.
- Scheduling and maintaining appointments and meetings either electronically or manually.
- Receiving and sorting mail and deliveries.
- Develop good relationships with residents, staff, relatives and visitors.
- To participate in the Homes covid visitor screening programme as required.

**REQUIRED SKILLS**:

- Previous administrative experience is desirable.
- A knowledge or previous experience of a healthcare environment would be desirable.
- Self-motivated and flexible.
- Organised with the ability to manage and co-ordinate multiple projects within a busy and demanding environment.
- Excellent IT and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Friendly telephone manner
