**Your Duties**:

- Enforcing council bye-laws, dog control orders, litter code, and alcohol enforcement.
- Conducting regular patrols to identify and address issues related to anti-social behaviour.
- Issuing warnings and fixed penalties, attending court hearings, and participating in covert operations as required.
- Patrolling and maintaining orderly conduct at designated sites.
- Lifting litter, waste, and hazardous materials, ensuring proper disposal.
- Examining vandalised areas and reporting observations and actions taken.
- Updating and maintaining park opening signs, conducting routine inspections, and providing attendant duties at park facilities.
- Assisting in training and mentoring team members, volunteers, and placements.
- Completing paperwork and records related to incidents, inspections, accidents, and vandalism.
- Utilising technology and equipment provided for communication, including public address systems and body-mounted CCTV.
- Driving and maintaining assigned vehicles and assisting in emergency situations.

**Your Profile**:
**Driving Qualifications**:

- Possession of a full, current driving license enabling them to drive in Northern Ireland.
- Alternatively, access to a form of transport that allows the completion of all duties associated with the post.

**Relevant Experience**:
**The successful applicant must demonstrate at least one year of experience in each of the following areas**:

- Dealing effectively with members of the public in a face-to-face environment.
- Working within a security role, including opening/closing facilities, carrying out patrols, setting alarms, and recording/reporting incidents. Collaboration with statutory bodies, such as the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), is essential.
- Working in an enforcement or legislative role, e.g., dog control orders, litter code, and/or alcohol enforcement.

**Special Skills and Attributes**:

- Customer care skills with an awareness of its importance.
- Written communication skills for incident, accident, and anti-social behaviour reports.
- Oral communication and interpersonal skills for effective communication with the public, community groups, and statutory bodies.
- Teamworking skills and a basic understanding of other council departments.
- Health and safety awareness and basic analysis and decision-making skills.

**Other**:

- Demonstrate at least two years of relevant experience working in an enforcement or legislative role, including responsibilities related to dog control orders, litter code, and/or alcohol enforcement.#

- 06:00-16:30.
