Kitchen Porter

We are a busy wedding venue in Romiley, Stockport and we are looking for friendly and confident individuals to join our Kitchen team to support our Head Chef and Chef in preparing amazing meals for our wedding guests. Fridays and Saturdays only.

Duties;
- On the wedding day, support the Head Chef in plating canapes, meals and desserts
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other cooking utensils
- Dispose of waste and recycling properly
- Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Assist in food preparation under the supervision of the kitchen staff

Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic food preparation and cooking techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils is beneficial

As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in supporting the kitchen staff in their daily operations. Your assistance in food preparation, cleaning, and organization will contribute to the smooth functioning of the kitchen.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £6.40-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 12 per week
