**Role / Position Overview**
The HR Risk and Control organisation is responsible for establishing frameworks with respect to both the identification and management of human capital risk, as well as organisational control and compliance strategies and programs including the Manager Control Assessment (MCA) program.
This role requires a high degree of focus and change management across the 55 countries that form part of Citi’s EMEA region and this position will play a critical role in partnering directly with the HR Functions undergoing the highest degree of change, to help support the overall organisation transformation and ensuring that the efforts being driven within each function are aligned with the overall transformation program efforts.
As part of the Manager Control Assessment( MCA) EMEA team you would work closely with a wide range of stakeholders including the HR global MCA teams covering all the core HR products to ensure consistent implementation of the Citi MCA Standard and Procedures in all 55 countries in EMEA that receive these HR services.
- Support the Annual and Quarterly Risk Assessment (ARA,QRA) process across the EMEA region for all 55 countries.
- Perform and deliver risk assessment results, including business metrics that provide line of sight to business control performance.
- Analyse results to provide trending and feedback loop for management oversight, applicable “deep dives” and input to change management of MCA processes
- Partner with risk officers for driving identification and mitigation of significant operational breaks, identification of root cause, providing recommendations for future prevention; providing governance to ensure remediation and improvements.
- Partner with Independent Operational Risk Management, Risk, Compliance, Audit and Legal to identify and mitigate cross function risks.

- To build relationships outside of HR with regular interaction with Operational Risk Management, Internal Audit and Independent Compliance that ensure HR maintains compliance with local regulations.
- The MCA team is part of a wider EMEA HR Risk & Control function and there will be opportunity to gain knowledge in the Privacy space, Issue and Corrective Action Plan management, regulations management and HR governance.
**Knowledge/Experience**
- Familiarity of overall MCA program with experience with Citi Risk & Control, and understanding HR Risk policies, procedures and standards would be useful but not essential.
- Demonstrates capacity to work in highly pressured & fluid environments.
- Strong relationship management skills with ability to deepen relationships and build partnerships across the HR Businesses and key support areas like Audit, Compliance, Control, Independent Risk, and Legal to ensure franchise and other key risks and needs are considered.
