Trainee Aluminium Welder

**Trainee Aluminum Welder - Coatbridge - starting rate: £12 - £16 per hour - depending on experience.**

Our client is looking for a **Aluminum Welder (Light Gauge)** with some fabrication experience to join them on a temp to perm basis.

**A small weld test on light gauge ally is required prior to start**

**Workshop based**

**Monday - Thursday 7:30 - 4:30**

**Friday
- 7:30 - 12:30**

**A drivers license would be advantageous but not a necessity**

Job duties include:

- Selecting and procuring the right material and equipment needed for welding
- Measuring and aligning workpieces
- Filling ducts with water and air
- Evaluating aluminum welding procedures and recommending improvements
- Providing guidance for tooling improvements
- Suggesting new ideas to reduce cost and eliminate waste
- Conducting training sessions to subordinates
- Adhering to company’s safety protocols

**Job Type**: Temp to perm

**Salary**: £12.00-£16.00 per hour
