Introducing the plant and tool fitter role, designed specifically for mechanically minded individuals like you. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of plant and small tools.

Your ability to strip down complex parts and reassemble them with precision will be put to good use as you diagnose issues, perform repairs, and carry out routine maintenance.

- 110V and cordless power tools (hammer drills, grinders, saws)
- 110V/240V site equipment (high-frequency pokers, dehumidifiers, dust extractors)
- 2-stroke and petrol equipment (cut-off saws, mixers, power floats)
- Diesel plant (generators, compressors, pressure washers)
- Air tools (breakers, picks, scabblers)
- Hydraulic equipment (power packs, pallet trucks, jacks)
- Mechanical equipment (material lifts, chain blocks, access platforms)

**Key skills**
- Experience in repairing plant and tools or similar a role, experience in petrol and diesel engines, electrics, and mechanical equipment will also be considered
- The commitment to learn about the business and range of equipment
- The ability to prioritise, work quickly and pay attention to detail
- An organised and methodical approach
- A good level of numeracy, literacy and IT skill
- A great sense of humour.
