PCB Technician

**Alexander Steele Recruitment** are working alongside a growing UK Manufacturing company to find a **PCB T echnician**to join their site in **Greater Manchester**due to increased order and product range demand.

Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, you will efficiently assemble and program PCB’s to customer requirements meeting cost, time and quality demands, using the most economical of means.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Hand soldering components to PCB’s to a high standard.
- Testing the functionality of PCB’s
- Using automated assembly equipment, assemble the PCB’s.
- Support goods in department with deliveries.
- Assemble and fault find PCB’s in line with the advised procedures.
- Use LEAN methods of working, always looking to improve efficiency and workflow.
- Ensure that non-conformances are dealt with promptly and through the correct processes.
- Experience working within a SMT manufacturing or production environment.
- IT literate
- GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Health, Safety, Quality and Build standards or relevant working experience.
- Proactive and motivated with a positive working attitude.
- IPCA-610 or J-STD-001 or equivalent qualification.
- Working knowledge of SAP or other relevant MRP systems.
