SF are are currently working with a fantastic manufacturing business based in Halesowen. They are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant position, responsible for, but not limited to, the preparation of analyses for the completion of month-endtasks and preparation of managements accounts for review to support the Financial Controller with the timely submission of month-end financials.
Key tasks:

- Preparation of detailed Management Accounts for review by Financial Controller or Finance Manager together with supporting analysis
- Provide support to Financial Accountant re completion of VAT and Intrastat and maintain control account reconciliation
- Prepare various analyses and reports including but not limited to Rebate Monitor, Customer Allowances, Business Case, Margin by Product Report and others as directed.
- Review existing analysis with a view to maintaining and improving accuracy
- Monitor & reconcile accruals/prepayments, to include AP verification and payroll journal review and posting thereof
- Monthly preparation of stock valuation and stock journal for posting to ledgers
- Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Provide support in respect of quarterly intercompany reconciliation process including realised/unrealised FX revaluation.
- Prepare year-end audit/tax audit reconciliations via preparation of ad hoc analyses and complete statutory audit requirements
- Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Financial Controller and Finance Manager
- To actively support the formal integrated Management System by ensuring all defined policies, processes & procedures & work instructions are accurately applied.
- To be fully aware of all company policies and procedures and work within the guidelines as stated.
