Ecologist

TSR are working with a long-standing client who are looking for an Ecologist to join their team on a permanent basis.

This position will see the Ecologist be an integral part of their Environmental and Sustainability Division, this position will be on a hybrid basis with some travel across the UK where needed.

**The Ecologist will be**:

- Conducting field work for first and Phase 2 surveys,
- Completing the associated reports and conducting environmental impact assessments.
- Liaise with clients, project managers and stakeholders, and work closely with our arboriculturist.

**Qualifications needed for the Ecologist**:

- Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field
- Experience in ecological, habitat and wildlife assessment and identification, field work, and botany
- Proficiency in report writing and conducting environmental impact assessments
- CIEEM membership - Associate or higher
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Full UK Driving License

**The following would be advantageous**:

- Protected Species License(s).
- Demonstrable consultancy experience.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
