Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part Time Health and Safety Officer to join our team, at our offices in Weeton, Preston with flexability for remote work. As a Health and Safety Officer you will be responsible for ensuring complaince with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and implementing safety policies and procedures. You will also provide training and support to employees to promote a safe and healthy work environement. This role requires strong knowledge of safety regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify and address potential hazards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with HSE
- Conduct regular inspections of the workplace and sites to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, training sessions, and other relevant documentation
- Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and changes in safety regulations

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Health and Safety Officer or similar role
- Professional Certification in Health and Safety such as NEBOSH or IOSH
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations and Best practices
- Strong Attention to detail and Analytical Skills
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience in conducting Risk assessments and developing Safety Protocols
- Proficiency in using Health and Safety Management Systems
- Experience in a construction industry is a plus

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
