**Role and Responsibilities**:
As a QHSE Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in steering our QHSE department, with a specific focus on sheet metal fabrication processes. Your responsibilities include:

- Coordinating and managing all aspects of the QHSE department, ensuring effective implementation of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental practices.
- Overseeing the audit process, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and collaborating with regulatory bodies.
- Ensuring product conformity with specifications and drawings, aligning with required quality standards.
- Implementing efficient production techniques to consistently deliver high-quality products.
- Assessing vendors through a scoring system and documenting QHSE audit results.
- Equipping the QHSE department with necessary resources for optimal performance.
- Reporting safety, quality, and environmental performance to the Managing Director.
- Collaborating with Customer Service to address warranty-related matters.
- Efficiently managing non-conformance reports and related actions.
- Supporting the integration of new products into the QHSE framework.
- Identifying improvement areas through regular internal audits.
- Working with cross-functional teams to achieve key performance indicators.
- Contributing to initiatives aimed at enhancing QHSE practices.
- Promoting a culture of improvement through presentations and training.

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- Assisting in developing and implementing safe systems of work.
- Ensuring the integrity of machine guarding and safety control devices.
- Investigating and reporting accidents and dangerous occurrences promptly.
- Enforcing personal protective equipment (PPE) usage and conducting risk assessments.
- Maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.

**Requirements**:

- To excel in this role, you should possess:

- Proven QHSE Officer experience, ideally within engineering and sheet metal fabrication.
- Previous involvement in Fabrication manufacturing.
- Solid knowledge of Lean Six Sigma techniques.
- In-depth familiarity with QHSE regulations, ISO standards, and best practices.
- Strong grasp of QM systems and understanding of APQP, FMEA, ISO9000, and ISO 14001.
- NEBOSH Certification.
- Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Experience in management system auditing.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Exceptional problem-solving and reporting skills.
- Effective leadership and communication capabilities.
- A proactive approach to safety and continuous improvement.
- Desirable certifications or qualifications in QHSE.
