Remedy Education are seeking to recruit a Primary Teaching Assistant to work within a leading Primary School who have developed an ARP for children who have ECHPs for ASD. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working with additional needsand enjoys being creative They are a two-form entry Ofsted Outstanding Primary School located in the heart of Lambeth. For the past four years their results have been consistently higher than average at all Key Stages. The Autism Resource Provision (ARP),is based within the main School for children with a diagnosis of Autism and an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

**Approach**

They use a range of approaches with the children.You will work closely with parents, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and other professionals to develop personalised programmes for our children. As well as specialist support in TheARP, children are linked to a mainstream class, where they have opportunities to learn alongside their peers.

- A low arousal, communication friendly environment and our children have access to a sensory room and soft play room for a variety of therapies and interventions.

**About the role**
- Working closely with our Head of SEN, Speech & Language Therapists and other experienced teaching professionals providing support and guidance, your role will be to:

- implement personalised learning programmes with individual students / groups in or outside lessons
- enhance the provision for students by taking responsibility for specific long-term projects or short-term learning activities
- support teachers in monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupil achievement, progress and development.
- Working with small groups of students
- Working one to one with students as required
