We will require to complete a DBS for this role.

We are looking for a friendly and motivated person who will ensure that all guests receive a warm and personalised welcome to Twr y Felin Hotel. The night porter's role is to assist with late check ins and early departures, to be responsible for bar service, room service and other guest requests, as well as be responsible for the security of the hotel and its guests during the overnight period, complete administrative tasks accurately and within given deadlines.

This position is part time and holiday cover.

Duties Include:

- Have a basic understanding after training of Newbridge till system, MEWS PMS, ResDiary, Rota Cloud and the BMS.
- Ensure you secure the entire building to ensure that no one can enter except late returning resident guests.
- Ensure that guest feedback is recorded effectively and passed to the relevant Manager to improve services.
- Offer a reception service to late arriving guests including effective check-ins and any room service requirements and assist guests with luggage as and when required.
- Be responsible for cleaning, setting up and maintaining all public areas throughout the property and ensure that the agreed standards of service, cleanliness and security are maintained.
- Assist with food preparation in the kitchen area if required.
- Preparation and delivery of room service orders throughout the evening and night to the correct company standard.
- Set up the breakfast room and breakfast preparation each morning.
- Deal with early departures, ensuring cash and credit card transactions are processed correctly and to ensure that all discrepancies are reported immediately.
- Be the first point of contact of Roch Castle and Penrhiw Priory between 11 P.M. and 7.30 A.M.
- Maximise all sales opportunities by using your knowledge of the properties and features.
- Attend any training and departmental meetings, as required.
- Be present during event operations including Weddings, Events, Christmas, New Year, Easter and other School and Bank Holidays as required.
