Trainee Import/export Administrator

We are working with a medium sized Freight Forwarder who are looking to recruit Import / Export Administrator.

Monday to Friday 9am-6pm

We are looking for either 6 months experience or a Trainee looking for a career within Freight Forwarding.

Role Involves.
- Set up job files for import/export and road shipments where necessary.
- Complete customs entries (training will be given)
- Become compliant in air, road and sea operations ( training will be given)
- Assist in running of temporary admission, bonded and T1 lists.
- Accrue files with supplier costs accurately and pass to line manager.
- Send clearance instructions to suppliers for import shipments.
- Raise CMR's
- Cut waybills for air exports.
- Invoicing ie, Import VAT correctly.
- Support in others areas when needed.

Skills needed.
- Keen to learn
- Confident individual with professional manner.
- Good organisational skills/ time management skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and on own initiative.
