Domestic Abuse Caseworker/facilitator

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Case Worker to join our team. As a Case Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to men, women and children in need. This role requires compassion, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with vulnerable populations.
**Duties**:
- Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop individualised care plans
- Provide emotional support and guidance to clients, in challenging situations
- Liaise with external agencies and professionals to coordinate services for clients
- Monitor and evaluate client progress towards goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case notes and records
- Advocate for clients' rights and best interests
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working within a teaching or social care or similar setting
- A relevant qualification in teaching, social work, psychology, or a related field
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
- IT literate in use of Powerpoint, Google and Microsoft Word
