**Job description Operative**

**General Nature and Description of Industrial Operative Role**

Industrial Operatives will strive to provide an efficient and effective service on site, adhering to all company policies and procedures while also maintaining the Assured reputation.

**Main Duties and responsibilities of Industrial Operative**
- Travelling throughout the UK in company vehicles, with regular overtime and overnight stays to meet the needs of each specific customer project.
- Cleaning of ductwork Air handling Units to TR19 standard. This will involve hand scraping to clean ductwork and using specialist equip - Full training will be provided includes lifting, carrying equipment.
- Specialized cleaning e.g. high level, hazardous cleaning/removal & specialist sanitization cleaning (training will be provided).
- Building strong, sustainable relationships on site with customers by upholding Assured brand values and demonstrating professionalism, courtesy, friendliness and helpfulness. Exhibiting, enthusiasm, willingness and a positive outlook.
- Taking initiative in solving problems, demonstrating a ‘can do’ approach.
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures including full used of PPE. Working as a team to assess potential risks on each site visited.
- Maintenance of vehicle used by cleaning teams by completing weekly vehicle check sheets and leasing with the industrial manager.
- Ensuring you all have all necessary equipment, stock and PPE to carry out the work efficiently and safely.
- Report any accidents to industrial manager following the Assured accident reporting procedure.
- Answering phone as and when required
- To comply with the Company Handbook and the Company Policies contained therein.
- Any other ad hoc duties as occur from time to time.

**What Assured Cleaning will do.**
- Be open and approachable.
- Provide adequate resources to enable the Industrial Manager to fulfil their Job Description to a high standard.
- Provide safe equipment.
- Be transparent in the manner in which we deal with our staff and customers.

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
