Due to our continued growth and success we have a vacancy for an experienced Transport Distribution Supervisor to join our busy Didcot operation..

Hours: Monday to Friday 07.00 - 16.00.

The main responsibilities of the Transport Distribution Supervisor will include:

- Planning and overseeing Knights of Old palletised multi drop distribution and collections from the Didcot site.
- Offering the highest level of service to our customers, both internal and external.
- Communicating and resolving all delivery issues with the customer.
- Working closely with our operational teams in order to ensure that the highest level of service is achieved both internally and externally.
- Supervise the distribution drivers dealing with any defects or compliance issues.

The essential qualities of the Transport Distribution Supervisor will include:

- Demonstrable experience of both planning and transport administration.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the transport and logistics sector.
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the commercial drive to make a success of this role.
- Knowledge of drivers hours and WTD legislation
- Supervisory experience
