**Technical Officer (Food)**

**Ballymena**

**£22,000 - £25,000 depending on experience**

Reactive are on the lookout for a Technical Officer to join our client who to join our client who are one the largest food producers in the UK.

Joining a busy team in a fast-paced environment you will be involved in providing support with technical management systems, management of customer complaints, including collation of statistical data, customer queries and assistance with trending and communicating technical KPIs whilst ensuring that all activities comply with food safety, quality and legality.

**Duties**
- Management of customer complaints
- Ownership of customer complaints system
- Leading and participating weekly technical meeting with operations
- Controlling and maintaining the site’s micro schedule, ensuring compliance, overseeing the investigations and any non-conformances raised.
- Generating weekly and monthly KPI reports for management teams with relation to - micro results, GMP, customer complaints and non-conformances.
- Conduct routine and ad hoc traceability challenges as necessary to meet scheme, customer and legal requirements.
- Participating in internal and external audits
- Other duties as and when required.
- Deputising for the compliance officer where and when required.

**Criteria**
- Knowledge of food safety and HACCP - Qualifications in the area are desirable.
- The ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Capable of independent working.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- IT Literate.

**Working hours**
- 8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday
- 8.00am - 3.30pm Friday
