**Streetworks Administrator**

The streetworks administrator will support the civils supervisors and civils co-ordinator with the processing of permits and notices to the local authority for the operational teams.

The streetworks administrator will have a good understanding of how to identify, and work to, industry best practice and deliver excellent standards of work. Have knowledge of how to use Microsoft platforms and having a NSWR background would be desirable but not essential.

Main responsibilities include:

- Raising Highway Authority permits within legal timescales
- Liaise with field teams, Highway Authorities, schedulers & Traffic Management companies to ensure required permit, update and approvals are in place
- Efficiently deal with any permit modifications ensuring internal & external teams are notified
- Have a flexible can-do attitude.
- Work closely with the Site Supervisors and the Civils Co-ordinator.
- Ensure that safety is always the priority, promote safe working practices.
- Any other administrative duties considered appropriate and competent to do.

Skills and Experience
- Experience in a civils environnement. (Desirable)
- Full clean driving licence. (Essential)
- Working well within a team environment but can also work alone (Essential)
- Polite, approachable, and friendly demeanour (Essential)
