Location: Near Alton, Hampshire

Days: Monday -Friday (No Weekends)

Hours: 1500-0000hrs (9hour Shifts)

**Salary**: £27-30,000 per annum

Reporting to the Site Production Manager the Hygiene Supervisor will oversee the site hygieneoperation at a food processing factory based near Alton, Hampshire. The Hygiene Supervisor will assume responsibility for ensuring that all departmental targetsare met and that all documentation is completed to the required quality standards.

**The Role**
- Supervise a small team of hygiene operatives / factory cleaners to ensure factory equipment is safely and thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis
- Ensure cleaning tasks are carried out against schedule
- Prepping the factory for audit and customer visits
- Sign off factory back to production after cleaning shift
- Maintenance of cleaning equipment
- Monitor / Control of the cleaning chemical stock levels

**This is a rare opportunity for a Hygiene Professional to take an Evening Shift Role** - working 1500-0000hrs; Monday - Friday. The factory is closed at the weekend and does not operate on Bank Holidays.

**What we are looking for**

üPrevious experience in a similar role within a high-risk Food Manufacturing environment

üStrong People Management skills - Previous supervisory or team leader experience would be advantageous.

üGood understanding of Health and Safety requirements, including the ability to understand and use cleaning work instructions, procedures and safe systems of work

üFurther training / qualifications - such as: HACCP Level 3, COSHH Level 3, Food Safety and Hygiene Level 3 - would be advantageous. As would an understanding of Salsa, BRC or large retailer audits

üHonest, reliable and dedicated.

This role could be suitable for you if you have prior experience as an: Hygiene Team Leader, Hygiene Supervisor, Factory Cleaning Supervisor, Senior Hygiene Operative, Lead Hygiene Operative.
