We are recruiting on behalf ofa Group of Small Residential Children's Homes within Norwich, Norfolk.

The home is due to open for 4 children inAPRIL 2023.

The company is recruiting for Residential Support workers alongside Assistant Managers. They are focused upon delivering high-quality services to vulnerable children and young people.

The Role is providing Care and Support to looked after children. We are looking for staff who are able to work as part of a team and also alone. You will Strive to Safeguard children and provide them with the necessary guidance to enable them to live a positiveand meaningful life as they approach adulthood.

Can you?.........
- Ensure that all children and young people have their needs met and are safeguarded from harm, neglect, abuse or exploitation.
- Responding to any child care concerns appropriately.
- Ensuring that the building, equipment and furniture is well maintained.
- Ensure that the young person is at School / appointments and outings on time.
- Working effectively and can co-ordinate with social workers, parents/guardians and other connected professional agencies.

Our client has a crucial criteria that applicants need to meet in order to carry out the core duties of the role and to meet our Ofsted requirements. Applicants for this role need to:

- Have a UK driving licence, and the ability to reliably commute to the home.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred - NOT essential)

**Experience**:

- Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred - BUT NOT essential)

Licence/Certification:

- NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (preferred BUT NOT essential)
- Driving Licence ESSENTIAL
