Applications are now welcome for a Rotable Controller to join the Purchasing Department in our Head Office.

The main purpose of the position is to carry out all the reviews/purchases/repairs/exchanges/loans/scraps of ATR Fleet PEP (directly) inventories to meet the maintenance requirements. Manage suppliers, and ensure on time deliveries in compliance with company procedures and Part 145 requirements.

The Rotable Controller role is wide ranging in its responsibilities and scope of involvement. From ensuring that the work is performed in compliance with industry safety, current procedures, and company regulations; To complying with the purchasing and store policy and procedures / guidelines for the control of the purchasing function within the airline in a manner compliant with Part 145; To daily duties as directed by Materials Support Manager regarding the supply chain; To performing the daily duties in the most cost-conscious manner and participate in the continuous improvement process of procedures/standards.

Key Responsibilities

The main activities that will be carried out by the Rotable Controller include the below. As would be expected, the below is not exhaustive and reasonable responsibilities not listed below will be carried out, with training and support provided where required:

- Ensure the necessary stock levels for Rotables (direct) and consumables (indirect) parts for ATR fleet based on utilisation history, scheduled works in accordance with short and long planning of the maintenance works. (TF50- Planners Forecast)
- Reviewing all the unserviceable repair requisitions that come through Zendesk for the ATR Fleet.
- Continually improving communication and performance with Sabena/ PEP exchange programme, in charge of the account and main point of contact for the core returns.
- Keeping the ATR weekly, monthly PEP reports on file and up to date, monitor the core return and will revert to your weekly report with details/status for all the due cores, for cores not moving for more than 5 working days, escalate to Materials Support Manager and for cores not moving more than 7 days to Head of Purchasing and Logistics.
- For ATR fleet, and another fleet you may be looking after, ensure that suppliers (vendors or repair stations) perform in accordance with the company requirements and commercial agreements in place.
- Ensures the spare part supply to guarantee continued spares availability for NO GO and GO IF items (Essentiality Code 1, 2) monitoring SR19 - Network Stock Status Report every day.
- Plans and coordinates the acquisition to avoid stocking of parts with high values, parts which don’t cause delays or AOG to the aircraft.
- Maintaining a close communication with store department to ensure the receiving and returning of the components is made in line with the applicable agreements and that all unserviceable components are prepared and delivered on time and in compliance with applicable standards to vendors/contractors for repairs/exchange/overheads. Ensuring SH01 is updated with AWB number for all the delivery notes and ST32 is updated with AWB for all shipments returning to stock, related to ATR fleet.
- Run SR01/IE86 - Re-Order Min Level Reports two times a week to ensure that stock levels for ATR (Rotables) are correct at all outstations, ATR related.
- Approve quotes for PEP and NON-PEP orders and update Oases with cost, copy of quote and strip report as per the Authority Approval Level in place, add the signed strip reports to documents on option ST16.
- Check ST12 daily to ensure that advance exchange units have U/S (cores) returned in a timely manner. Liaise with AOG/Critical Controllers and or LMC/Base to expedite component changes in order to achieve the core return target.
- Once a week cross-check with the ATR PEP overdue core report for ATR fleet and expedite any core unit that might have been delayed.
- Ensure all the orders raised are chased periodically and the delivery date is updated into Oases.
- Chase and monitors the delivery terms agreed with contractors and endeavour to ascertain the best result.
- Actively participates in Inventory Analysis establishing the surplus items, ensures the sale of slow-moving parts, components and materials with the consent of Materials Support Manager and the Head of Purchasing and Logistics.

- Internal and external meetings.
