**What you'll be doing**
- You'll maintain and improve existing active strategies developed infrastructure, primarily in VBA, python and SQL
- Develop new platforms, both independently and working alongside LGIM’s central IT teams
- Suggest and develop process and system improvements within the Research team with a focus on ESG
- Work with Research Analysts and Portfolio Managers to identify and analyse themes across credit and equity markets using quantitative techniques

**What we're looking for**
- BA/BSc (or equivalent)
- Mathematics to A-level (or equivalent)
- At least 5 years of experience programming in Python and VBA
- You’ll have experience working with numerical analysis
- Comfortable with large datasets.
- Ability to effectively structure, analyse, manipulate, query and summarize variations of datasets such as files, tables or services.
- Logical thinker
- Fluent English speaker
