**WHAT TO EXPECT**

The Feature Integration TGL role is accountable for the definition, development and delivery of customer features and systems into the architecture programmes, to achieve the sign-off level for Job 1 and OK to Ship.

The feature Integration TGL ensures the programme feature content is defined and aligned and is then accountable for the successful integration of all features into vehicle programmes in line with programme gateways. Working with the wider Central Systems Integration team, the delivery steps required to deliver the features are understood and broken down into time-based goals to co-ordinate their integration into customer vehicle programmes for Engineering Sign-off. The feature Integration TGL negotiates and aligns these goals with the delivery domains through the Agile methodology, spotting any threats or incompatibilities and resolving any disconnects to allow the overall plan to succeed.

To support successful feature delivery, the TGL is also responsible for maintaining the consolidated Integration Report, which provide all stakeholders with full end-to-end plans for feature and function availability and maturity, so that functionality on vehicles and test properties is known and understood in advance of the build. The TGL assists with major issue resolution as required to enable on-time delivery. The progress of the Integration Report is presented out via bi-weekly Showcases to senior management stakeholders.

The feature Integration TGL leads a team of Feature Integrators, providing leadership and guidance to allow them to achieve the teams’ objectives, as well as assisting with their training and development needs.

**WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR**
- Primary responsibility is ensuring consistent and efficient delivery of vehicle features and systems across architecture programmes, identifying and removing any roadblocks that may prevent success.
- Engage Domains and CoC delivery areas to understand system delivery timelines, assist and lead system owners with delivery issues, drive resolution of critical issues affecting function quality and/or introduction date to achieve sign-off of all features.
- Manage a team of feature integration engineers providing coaching and leadership to forward their development.
- Prepare gateway sign-off reports for software and feature completion, provide briefing packs for Engineering VIP drives.
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**

***Essential**:

- Significant relevant experience of working in an end-to-end automotive Systems Engineering design & delivery environment.
- Experience of system definition, system architecture development, requirements specification, design reviews, systems integration, system assessment and acceptance
- Experience in leading teams of people to solve complex technical issues using a structured approach e.g., 8D and/or Six Sigma
- High levels of motivation, energy and leadership will be required to bring teams together and work to find solutions under pressure.
- Full driving licence
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.

**Desirable**:

- Willingness to work flexibly on occasion, in terms of location and hours. Vehicle preparation for special events may require late working with prior notice.
- Class 3 driver training level or equivalent.
