Assistant Greenkeeper

We have a position for an enthusiastic and committed person looking to develop their career in Greenkeeping. We are looking to expand on our experienced Greenkeeping team to help carry out routine golf course maintenance tasks as directed by the Head Green Keeper. Working within a small team, you will gain experience and be involved in all areas of golf course maintenance and management.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Cut tees, greens, surrounds, fairways, rough and semi-rough.
- Set up the golf course, including changing holes, and moving tee markers, indicating drop zones and hazards.
- Switch and brush greens.
- Identify and control weeds, pests and diseases.
- Renovate worn and damaged turf.
- Prepare and maintain machinery.
- Ensure clubhouse/amenity areas are maintained and well-presented.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- PA1, 2 & 6
- Chainsaw CS30,31

Positive attitude, reliability and good time keeping a must, especially as you will be required to work in all conditions. Own transport is essential. Our working hours are as follows; flexible hours needed starting at 6am in the summer and 6.30am in the winter.

**Salary**: £22,300.00-£24,000.00 per year

- Greenkeeping: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Level 2 in Greenkeeping (preferred)
