**Current Opportunities for Warehouse Operatives**:

- **4on 4off Days Warehouse Operative - **Hours of work are 07:00hrs - 19:00hrs. **Starting salary for Warehouse Operative Days with Enhanced MHE is £24,446pa, based on working 40.25 average per week.**:

- **4on 4off Nights Warehouse Operative - **Hours of work are 19:00hrs - 07:00hrs. **Starting salary for Warehouse Operative Nights with Enhanced MHE is £26,539pa, based on working 40.25 average hours per week.**

**The position of Warehouse Operative involves**:

- To receive and put away finished goods from our customers using MHE (Counterbalance, Reach & PPT’s), RF scanners and paper-based forms in accordance with operating procedures.
- To pick and prepare orders for delivery into customer RDC’s using MHE, RF scanners and paper-based forms in accordance with operating procedures.
- You may also be required to make up orders by hand, sort finished goods and separate any non-conforming product. This will involve manual handling for which training will be provided.
- To load prepared orders onto vehicles in accordance with operating procedures.
- To unload and put away pallets received from our customers production facilities.
- General housekeeping and upkeep of the warehousing area.
- This position has the potential to develop to a team leader role in time.

**Essential skills required for Warehouse Operative**:

- Hold a current Counterbalance forklift licence. Reach forklift licence is also advantageous, although full inhouse training can be provided.
- Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment.
- Experience with computerised warehouse management systems, Manhattan scale is advantageous.
- Good communication and team working skills.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to work within a fast paced environment.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
