- **As part of our continued growth we have recently expanded into the South West of the UK. We opened our new Distribution Centre in Bridgwater, Somerset in May 2023 and have now opened a Northern Distribution Centre. This site will act as a hub for our operations in the North of the UK, with in-house specialist haulage delivering daily to customers in the region.**_

We are recruiting for **Warehouse Operatives **to be based at our new Northern Distribution Centre. The working hours for the role are Monday to Thursday 11:00am - 7:00pm and Fridays 9:00am - 5:00pm with occasional overtime as necessary.

As part of the distribution/production team, you will perform various tasks surrounding the preparation of palletised customer orders for dispatch, producing a range of resin products to specific formulations and weights, as well as assisting with stock counts and receiving goods into the warehouse.

As this is a busy Distribution Centre, we have numerous deliveries coming in and out daily, customers collecting orders and 3rd party couriers arriving on site, because of this you will need to be able to understand and follow all Health and Safety requirements along with assisting these visitors with their needs.

Occasional trade counter operation will require attendance and ability to interact with customers / contractors on a face to face basis.

This is a fast paced and varied role in a forward thinking and rapidly growing business.

**You'll be a great fit for Vuba because you will have**:

- Current forklift licence, ideally, Reach and Counterbalance
- Previous experience as a dispatch operative or a similar role in a warehouse (preferable)
- Ability to lift and transfer heavy loads manually
- Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures (a unique Vuba uniform, safety gear and training will be provided)
- Good interpersonal skills ideally with face to face customer interaction
- Numeracy and literacy skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,750.00-£27,000.00 per year
