We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SEN Teacher Assistant/1:1 Support to work with a student in the Darwen BB3 area. As a SEN Teacher Assistant/1:1 Support, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to a student with special educational needs. Your role will involve providing one-to-one support to the student in the classroom, helping them to access the curriculum and making sure they are engaged in their learning.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-to-one support to a student with special educational needs.
- Assist the student in accessing the curriculum and engage them in their learning.
- Work closely with the class teacher and other professionals involved in the student's education.
- Monitor the student's progress and report back to the class teacher and SENCo.
- Implement strategies and interventions to support the student's learning and development.
- Promote the student's independence and self-esteem.
- Support the student in their social and emotional development.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant qualifications in SEN (e.g. Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools)
- Experience working with young people with special educational needs.
- Good knowledge of SEN and the strategies and interventions that can support young people with different needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- A positive, patient, and empathetic attitude.

**Salary**: £65.00-£100.00 per day

- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Darwen: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Special education: 2 years (preferred)
