About the role
The Business & IP Centre (BIPC) Cambridgeshire & Peterborough supports start-up businesses and entrepreneurs across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough to develop the insight, skills and confidence they need to start and grow successful businesses.

The BIPC Relationship Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and managing the newly created ‘Get set and grow’ programme aimed at businesses within East Cambridgeshire, South Cambridgeshire, and Huntingdonshire. The two-month programme will focus on the fundamental principles to help businesses innovate and scale and will assist organisations to understand how they can refine their business models, monetise their assets and diversify their product/service offering to reach new audiences. The ‘Get set and grow’ programme will run six times, commencing from September 2023 - March 2025.

This post is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund* and is being delivered by the Business & IP Centre Cambridgeshire & Peterborough on behalf of East Cambridgeshire District Council, South Cambridgeshire District Council, and Huntingdonshire District Council.

This is a fixed term role due to end in March 2025

What will you be doing?
The Relationship Coordinator will be critical to the success of the project and will be responsible for liaising with the project funders, delivery partners and participants of the programme. Relationship Coordinators will provide end-to-end client management for SMEs selected for the programme, including working with each client to devise an appropriate growth plan and maintaining close links throughout their journey, referring to other support channels appropriate to each stage. Relationship Coordinators will also be responsible for tracking client progress and maintaining records on the interactions and impacts of the programme.

The Relationship Coordinator will also be responsible for coordinating feedback at the end of each programme to make any changes for future cohorts. This feedback will also form part of our stakeholder reporting.

About you
You will have strong knowledge and experience with relationship building. An understanding of how to successfully build and maintain positive relationships with customers, identifying opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
