**Job Title**: Financial Inclusion Officer
**Reporting to**: Head of Education
**Salary**: £21,700.00
**Contract**: Full time 40 hours per week

Foundation 92 has worked with a number of key partners to build bespoke programmes that allow young people and individuals across Salford to increase knowledge, awareness and understanding around a variety of financial matters and situations. The programme’s key objectives are:

- Enhance knowledge, skills, and confidence to improve financial understanding.
- Increase awareness of managing finances.
- Increase knowledge and understanding on topics such as budgeting, investing and borrowing money.
- Enhance confidence around financial literacy and the terminology used.
- Support people make informed and concise decisions around finances.

**Main Job Responsibilities**
- To deliver a high-quality, inclusive curriculum around financial literacy and inclusion.
- To deliver targeted interventions and workshops with specific demographics to enhance knowledge and understanding.
- To be confident in developing, designing and creating new curriculum content around financial inclusion/literacy.
- To communicate clearly with teachers, staff, and parents, to ensure that all sessions are delivered in a safe and enjoyable environment.
- To be punctual and organised, ensuring that all equipment is prepared, and the venue is ready prior to the arrival of the participants.
- To be responsible for the welfare of children and young people in your care, ensuring they are supervised at all times.
- To communicate efficiently and professionally with the Head of Education and key stakeholders to provide feedback when required.
- To adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures as outlined by Foundation 92 in the community and report any safeguarding or welfare incidents to the appropriate line manager.
- To always act as an ambassador for Foundation 92, representing the charity in a professional manner.
- To be clean and well presented, wearing full Foundation 92 kit.
- To demonstrate a positive commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion and reporting any acts of discrimination.
- To attend in-house CPD sessions or formal training when required.
- Fulfil additional roles and responsibilities as required by Foundation 92’s senior management team.

**Qualifications**
- Hold a minimum FA Level 2 Football Coaching Qualification (D)
- In-date Emergency First Aid and Safeguarding Certificates (E)
- In-date accepted Full Enhanced DBS check (E)
- Hold a driving license & have own transport or be willing to use public transport to travel across the working area (E)
- Relevant teaching qualification (e.g. Level 3 Supporting PE and School Sport, PGCE, Teacher level 3/4) (E)
- Relevant financial experience or qualifications (D)

**Experience**
- Experience of working with children and young people in community-based settings such as schools or charities (E)
- Experience of planning and delivering a variety of courses, workshops and events for children and young people (E)
- Experience of working as part of a team with other staff and/or coaches (E)
- Strong organisational and communication skills (E)
- Outgoing and approachable personality (E)
- IT Literate (E)
- Understanding of Foundation 92’s wider delivery programmes (D)
