**Heavy Plant & HGV Fitter**

**Perm role, £43,800k pa, 45hrs per week, Rotating shifts**

**KNOTTINGLEY**

Interaction Recruitment are looking for an experienced Plant and HGV Fitter to work for one of their clients, based in Pontefract. Reporting to the Works Engineer, your main role will be to carry out servicing and defects of their fleet of crane-off-load HGV’s, Tippers and Heavy Pant Machinery around site.

Day to day tasks will include:

- Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards
- Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection
- Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment
- Good housekeeping and H&S requirements
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed

Key skills and qualifications required for this role are:

- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in HGV Repair and Maintenance
- Plant Fitting experience would be beneficial
- Full valid driving licence
- HGV License would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic IT knowledge

You will be required to work on a rotating shift pattern, 6am to 3pm and 3pm to 12pm from Monday to Friday. This is advertised as a Permanent position with a salary of £43,800k pa.
