This dual professionalism role seeks to find a committed person who strives to continue to maintain and develop their expertise in both aspects of the role to ensure the best outcomes for their team, learners and service users.
We are looking for you, a person who is proactive, empathic, who has the skills required to work in a learning/teaching environment whilst supporting the team to develop and ultimately have the compassion needed to deliver care to our service users.
The post holder will be required to travel between Norfolk and Suffolk, to deliver clinical support and training.
To provide leadership, supervision, appraisals and mentorship within the PMA Training team.
To have clear and up to date understanding of mental health issues in relation to PMA.
To spend an appropriate and agreed time in clinical areas, establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with service users and carers.
To contribute to evaluation of training in the management of violence and aggression.
Assist in the development of appropriate training programme.
Will plan and effectively organise the working day for self and others., delivering the curricula to clinical staff.
Responsible for the delegates in training sessions
Supervise training staff within the PMA Department.
To attend client centred reviews, case conferences and other meetings required advising on risk management issues both within the organisation and externally.

To support and develop other trainers to ensure that high standards are maintained.
To provide advisory support to the clinical areas in relation to PMA.
Ensure that timely and accurate reporting on all aspects of training records is possible and that training records are comprehensive and reliable.
To utilise knowledge and skills obtained through further training, by dissemination and imparting this to training colleagues.
To observe and ensure the requirements of the Mental Health Act (1983, 2017) Code of Practice is fulfilled.
