Butcher

We are looking for experienced butchers to join our existing team at our urban farm shop cafes

We source rare breed beef from around Purbeck including White park, Devons, Longhorns, Hereford all from conservation grazing schemes, Lamb and mutton from Tyneham valley, and our own rare breed pigs. As well as seasonal local game.

We also sell fresh fish direct from local dayboats.

Applicants should have very good customer service skills, experience of whole carcass butchery with a modern dynamic approach to both the counters and kitchen requirements, and most importantly a willingness to learn new skills.

An understanding of EHO requirements and recording of detail, along with a personally clean and tidy appearance.

Shifts will include weekends, with 2 consecutive days off each week

previous experience in a similar role of 2 years is advantageous although training is available to applicants with knowledge of meat or fish and knife skills.
