Carbon60 are currently recruiting for a Teardown Mechanic required in a permanent role based in Hayes at a global aviation company. The role involves working with other engineers and mechanics, on the disassembly of landing gear components on aircraft.

**Responsibilities and duties**
- Disassemble landing gear components in accordance with the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
- Undertake inspections for damage on the components as well as a count for missing parts, reporting to team leaders for investigation.
- Working to tight deadlines whilst keeping control of personal and company tools.
- Upkeep cleanliness and housekeeping standards
- Any tasks or duties undertaken should follow in compliance to company and EASA safety and environmental standards.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Must have good knowledge and ability with various hand tools
- The applicant would have worked within a mechanical environment undertaking assembly/disassembly duties (desirable)
- Use of overhead cranes is advantageous, but training can be provided
- Ability to work in a workshop environment and follow safety procedures, wearing correct PPE and safety materials at all times
- Ability to communicate well in written and spoken English
- Week 1: Monday to Friday: 06:00-14:00
- Week 2: Monday to Friday: 14:25-22:25
