Online Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, Online Assistant to join the online hub working within the Retail & Trading operations department at Bainbridge House. You’ll contribute to online growth and development through effective working practices to ensure the continued success of online sales. This will be achieved through recognised online sales channels such as our charity website and the Christmas leaflet.

Rennie Grove Hospice Care is a charity providing specialist care and support for adults and children with life-limiting illness in Bucks and west Herts. Through our unique Hospice at Home service, available day and night, and a range of living well services we support our patients to live the best quality of life they can with a choice about how and where they are cared for towards the end of their life. We have 25 retail shops in Bucks and west Herts as well as a fast growing online business.

Key requirements:

- Retail experience within a shop floor or Head office role
- Experience of knowledge of online selling practices
- A good understanding of IT with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
- Ability to build good working relationships
- Good administrative and record keeping skills, and able to work with good attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written forms.
- Strong organisational skills

Key accountabilities:

- Maintaining the site presence and all it's resourcing in accordance, ensuring online listing targets are maintained.
- Focusing on online sales of all donated and new goods.
- Providing excellent customer service to existing and potentially new supporters.
- Ensuring all processes are operated efficiently from sourcing, photography, listing, through to shipment.
- Support the picking and processing system associated with Christmas mailer and website generated sales.
