**Head Housekeeper**

**Wage Negotiable dependant on experience.**

**Main Purpose**
- To ensure members of staff clean bedrooms and public areas to required hotel standard in line with expectation of guests.

**Duties**

**Ensure all members of staff carry out duties of their job description**:

- To make guests' beds and clean all bedrooms, vacuum the carpets to the standard set during training.
- To clean guest' bathrooms.
- Check that all equipment in the rooms is in good working order.
- Ensure all rooms have adequate supplies of tea, coffee, soap etc as set out in the schedule.
- Clean all public areas.
- Attend all relevant meetings and training within your department.
- Check all bedrooms are cleaned to required standard.

**Other duties to be done in person**:

- Order all stock and linen for housekeeping department
- Ensure members of staff work safely and do not endanger themselves, other members of staff or guests.
- Highlight training needs and help in the training of staff members with the General and operations manager.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.75-£12.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme
- Tips
- Yearly bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Blackpool: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
