Gardener

Enthusiastic gardener required to join our team maintaining and developing the gardens around a Grade 1 historic private house in Oxfordshire outside Thame near J6 on the M40. 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

The house is set within listed parkland which is separated from the gardens by a HaHa. There are formal gardens immediately surrounding the main house, the tennis court and within the walled garden as well as a wild flower meadow to the front of the house, fruit orchard, lawns leading down to a large lake and woodland gardens. Inside the walled gardens there are heated and unheated greenhouses, a rose garden, fountain garden, soft fruit cage, vegetable garden and borders containing a range of fruit trees.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to gain experience in many areas of horticulture in this diverse private garden. The role would suit an enthusiastic individual looking to start their career, or an experienced gardener looking to expand their skills. All training and PPE will be provided. The parkland contains significant woodland and the role will require some work in both the parkland and surrounding woodland.

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
