Bookkeeper

Multiply Accountancy was founded in May 2018 with the aim of supporting the accounting and strategic advice needs of SMEs.

We work closely with clients providing everything from day to day bookkeeping and accounting compliance to strategic advice at Board level.

When it comes to compliance our focus is on quality, punctuality and reliability.

We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join the team on either a part time or full time basis.

Typical tasks will include:

- Processing sales and purchases into Xero accounting software, often using Dext
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with the production and submission of VAT returns
- Assisting with the production and submission of year end accounts and tax returns.
- General administrative tasks for clients

Suitable applicants will have a few years of experience of bookkeeping and may hold an accounting qualification such as AAT. Familiarity with current cloud accounting solutions such as Xero and Dext would be beneficial.

High levels of organisation and attention to detail are essential, as well as a genuine enthusiasm for the role.

This role may be available on a flexible or part time basis to work around childcare or other commitments for example.

Potential progression includes getting involved in detailed management accounting and year end accounts file production if appropriate.
