To create value for Lonza stakeholders by leading, managing and developing the performance of the global supply chain organizations by improving, simplifying and harmonizing business processes associated with sales forecasting, demand and supply planning.

Leads a team of Global Supply Chain experts and specialists such as Demand and Supply Planners, Business Unit Planners and Network Planners.

Manage directly supply chain for “make to stock” business and indirectly supply chain for “CDMO” businesses.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Definition, control of the implementation and further development of the global SCM strategy with respect to
- the supplier portfolio, commodity and contract management
- a customer-centric approach of the global PI SCM team
- cooperative, efficient and effective collaboration on all aspects of SCM
- systematic and continuous modernization, automation, and optimization of all SCM processes
- Global S&OP processes to support cross-functional management investment decisions
- Define, streamline and improves the Global SC processes and as needed initiates corrective action and training
- Establishment of Global Customer Service Level and Global Inventory management standards to optimize functional costs.
- Drive SC performance through KPI monitoring and target setting.
- Supports the other functions in the implementation of global processes or systems.
- Building, attracting and developing a High Performing Team of Global Supply Chain experts
- Develops the Strategy, change management activities and training needs for the Global Group with the development
- BU SC Mammalian is interacting with all 7 sites in Biologics Operations network, and represents largest business within Biologics division. It also has relevant x-BU supplies incl. DPS and BioConjugates

**Key requirements**:

- Degree in Supply Chain & Logistics or Economics, Business Administration or similar
- Highly experienced within end to end Supply Chain
- Highly experienced customer and close collaboration with commercial function
- Strong leadership & People management skills with ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines
