To perform work of routine and non-routine, non-complex and complex nature. To be responsible for repairs and routine planned maintenance activities as directed by management. To take all safety measures to prevent danger, avoid injury and prevent damage to equipment. To carry out additional work involving glazing, locksmith, scaffolding and wood machinery.
To interpret and work from all instructions, drawings and specifications appropriate to his trade without supervision. To use carpentry equipment and machinery as required in accordance with all legislative and statutory guidance ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards and procedures. To carry out new work, installation and refurbishment work throughout the Trust premises when required
