**Passenger Assistant**

As a Passenger Assistant your role will involve transporting children and adults, potentially with complex needs. You will ensure that once collected, they are supervised at all times until they are handed over to the responsible person at the beginning of the day / to their parent(s)/carer(s) at the end of the day.

A good Passenger Assistant needs:

- A reasonable level of fitness

- To be caring
- To be willing to work flexibly
- The ability to work well as part of a team

Duties include:

- Assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking from vehicles
- Provide directions and assistance to passengers as needed
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during transportation
- Help load and unload luggage and other belongings
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior
- Communicate effectively with passengers and other team members

To carry out this role, you will be accompanying a professional driver, so a driving licence is not required.

Experience in a similar role or within the care or educational sectors is desirable, but not essential.

If you have a valid DBS which is on the 'Update Service' then you may be able to start immediately. If not, we will process your DBS which can take 6-8 weeks.

Set working hour Contracts available.

Pay: £12.00 per hour
