Highways Supervisor

**The Role**

Key purpose of the role is to supervise the efficient and effective running of Operational activities meeting all safety, environment and quality obligations.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Supervise and promote safe working methods
- Ensure site inductions are carried out to all site personnel including sub-contractors and Client staff
- Carry out site supervision and ensure works completed on time and to specification
- Introduce new starters and Apprentices into site operations, clearly allocating supervision responsibilities and establishing working restrictions.

To be considered for this role you will require a degree in Civil Engineering / HNC in Civil Engineering or NVQ4 and a minimum 5 years' experience in highway construction as a ganger or equivalent or related activities.

The below skills would be beneficial for the role:

- Good knowledge of NEC forms of Contract.
- Good understanding of Quality Assurance
- Working knowledge of The Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works
- Competent IT skills and computer literacy

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering **£20 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35**.
