Grafton Banks Finance are currently working with a growing commercial business in Tonbridge to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a full time basis. Reporting into the Group Finance Director and working within a busy growing company, you will be responsiblefor supporting in the smooth running and operations of the companies accounting and finances.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

- Daily/ Weekly reconciliation of Bank transactions for each site (5) within the group
- Scanning, coding and input of supplier invoices
- Monthly supplier statement reconciliations
- Producing “suggested” supplier payments for approval on a weekly/ monthly basis
- Reconciling “cash-ups” to bank and credit card providers daily/ weekly and reporting variances
- Posting of weekly sales Journal
- Checking employee expense claims and payments
- Assisting with the Payroll for all 5 sites within the group and subsequent liaison with payroll bureau
- Weekly flash reporting for all 5 sites within the group
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with the group cashflows, budgets and forecasting
- Assisting with Statutory requirements, liaising with external accounting company
- Support all teams and providing transparent information for commentary
- task and work well under pressure.
