Working week Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm
Apprenticeship standard ICT LEVEL 3

Salary - 15k to 18k per annum

Description

As an ICT Network Support Apprentice, you will be responsible for providing support to clients and internal departments.

This role would be primarily office based, but may involve site visits from time to time to configure routers, phone systems and helping clients with device rollouts (mobile devices & tablets).
**On a day to day basis, you will**:

- Effectively manage the customer expectation and follow through with promises made to the customer.
- Empathetic and understanding to customer issues.
- Deal with customer enquiries in a friendly, calm, professional and proactive manner.
- Identify and diagnose faults using multiple platforms.
- Resolving support tickets and documenting the steps and actions taken.
- Providing regular updates to customers, on progress of orders, queries, faults etc.
- Provide customers with technical knowledge of the services & products we supply.
- Developing the knowledgebase so our users can find the answers they need
- Implementation and provisioning of hosted telephony, broadband and IP/Ethernet services.
- Train and teach customers on how to make the best use of the technology
- Undertake day-to-day admin across systems.
- Any other duties as required in the delivery of the role and as directed by the management team.
**Entry requirements**: You will already have a grade 4 / C in both GCSE Maths and English.
Previous qualifications in IT will be an advantage.
Training to be provided Level 3 ICT Network support Standard.
