Together Active is a local charity whose vision is to design out inactivity across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. The charity has ambitious plans for growing and is making a significant investment in expanding their workforce over the next 12 months. They are seeking a Finance Lead to manage both day to day finances and senior level financial processes.

**Closing Date**: 11.59 pm Sunday 6th August

**The Role**

The Finance Lead will ensure that Together Active’s day to day and senior financial processes run effectively and efficiently, ensuring that all regulatory and accounting standards are met.

You will facilitate Senior Leadership and Board members having a clear insight of the organisation’s financial position, contributing to the positive financial health of our organisation.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

- Managing the accounts payable process from end to end.
- Account reconciliation: recording and coding financial transactions, reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
- Managing and creating annual budgets: creating management reports and discussing financial information with the Senior Leadership Team on a monthly basis, or for ad hoc requests.
- Managing, and maintaining Together Active's forecasting model.
- Cash Flow Management: monitoring and reporting on cash in and out flow.
- Payroll: processing payroll for the team in partnership with our designated payroll provider, managing employee records and expenses.

**About You**

As Finance Lead, you will be minimum part-qualified, e.g., ACA, CIMA or ACCA, or equivalent.

You will have prior experience of working as Finance Lead or Finance Manager in a charity environment.

You will also have:

- Experience utilising software such as QuickBooks and ApprovalMax
- Demonstrable experience of preparing and reporting on management accounts
- Effective budgeting and forecasting skills
- An understanding of audit processes and year end accounts preparation
- Advanced Excel skills in relation to financial planning
- Excellent communication skills.

You may also have experience in areas such as Finance Manager, Head of Finance.
