Caretaker & Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a **Caretaker & Kitchen Assistant** to work as part of our small, friendly team, working a 30 - 48 hour week Wednesday - Sunday.

**The Role**
- Ability to follow instructions
- Communication
- Be able to work as an integral part of a team
- Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential

Duties to include

**General Cleaning**
- Cellar, Garage, Pot Wash Area, Staff Gents Toilet, Back Stairs

**Outside**
- Maintaining wood supply for fire
- Ordering coal and maintaining supply to the main house
- Porch area - keeping clean and tidy
- Terrace (in Summer) - keeping tables and chairs, clean and orderly. Sweeping terrace area.
- Some housekeeping support - changing light bulbs, carrying heavy laundry sacks
- Emptying and replacing kitchen bins
- Maintaining clean outside bin areas

**Ordering and Stock Control**
- Chemicals, Disposables, Light Bulbs

**Kitchen Pans / Restaurant Pots**
- Through quieter services processing kitchen and restaurant pots and pans.
- Ensuring that the dishwasher is properly operated and maintained.

- Working a 30 - 48 hour week Wednesday - Sunday. Salary reflective.
