Cash and Sales Ledger Clerk

Billing Aquadrome is one of many family oriented holiday resorts throughout the UK, we provide family holidays with memories to last with activities for all to enjoy.
We are now looking for a Cash and Sales Ledger Clerk to join and support our Financial Controller at Billing Aquadrome.
**Responsibilities to include**:
- Reconciling the cash takings from multiple outlets daily and preparing for collection by a third party cash collection service.
- Ordering change and providing cash floats to multiple outlets.
- Investigating discrepancies promptly where required.
- Liaising with internal colleagues and external clients to resolve queries with banking.
- Improving cash office procedures and streamlining of processes.
- Maintaining accurate records for the cash book.
- Follow safety and security procedures to ensure that the cash office is secure at all times.
- Processing petty cash and reconciling.
- Review and process annual pitch fee invoices.
- Review and process quarterly utility invoices.
- Review and process other ad-hoc invoices where required.
- Produce debtor reports for review at month end.
- Pursue debt and credit control customers in line with terms of business.
- Escalate debtors where and when needed.
- Maintain accuracy of customer ledgers.
- Assist & support other departments where required.
- Assist with any other reasonable duties requested by management.
**Skills and Experience**:
- Good communication skills incorporating both written and verbal.
- Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel in particular).
- Previous experience in cash management is essential.
- Prior use of Microsoft Business Central or Microsoft NAV is desirable but not essential.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £23,000.00 per year
