Job purpose:

- To serve meals to the children and clean various areas of the nursery

Key tasks:

- Serve lunches to children
- Check food temperatures
- Washing up and loading dishwasher
- Ensure stock levels for breakfast and cleaning supplies are efficient and inform Senior staff when they are getting low
- To assist in ordering supplies when needed
- Keeping kitchen area clean and tidy
- Clean other areas of the nursery including staff room and children’s wash areas
- Load and empty washing machine and tumble dryer

Essential for the post:

- Ability to use judgement and common sense
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively as a team member
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Good time management
